One minute she's in Albert Square, the next she's in the biggest TV series on the planet
Former EastEnders actress Alice Nokes – who played Courtney Mitchell – has appeared in global megahit Game of Thrones.
Alice, who played Courtney in 13 episodes of EastEnders back in 2016, popped up as a character called Willa in the latest episode of the HBO phenomenon.
The 20-year-old star alerted her fans to her guest spot on Twitter, declaring: “Catch me in my 2 seconds of fame on Game of Thrones episode 4”.
Alice’s character wasn’t in the original stories and she appeared in an episode called The Last of the Starks.
Back when she joined EastEnders, Alice revealed how thrilled she was to be playing Courtney, the daughter of Grant and Tiffany Mitchell (Martine McCutcheon).
“I was so excited! To be a part of such an experienced cast and in one of the most renowned families in British soaps… it was a dream come true!,” she said of landing the role.
Adding about Courtney: “I think Courtney is a very similar character to myself. She’s quite feisty and definitely has the Mitchell side in her. She’s not a mean girl, she’s not malicious. She’s very kind-hearted and very much like her mum, Tiffany. I think she’s vulnerable, but in an endearing way. However, Courtney is confident and likes a party!”
Outside of EastEnders, Alice also made a guest appearance in Casualty as well as starring alongside David Williams in Grandpa’s Great Escape.
