The actor made his debut in 2008.
It seems like only yesterday Danny Miller joined Emmerdale as a young Aaron Dingle in 2008.
Ten years on, and his character has come a long way since being involved with the criminal McFarlane family.
Now, an openly gay man and married to Robert Sugden, Aaron is fast becoming one of the show’s most loved characters, with is emotional storylines gripping viewers.
And as the 27-year-old actor marked his milestone on the ITV soap, fans couldn’t help praising him on his epic journey, wishing him another 10 years on the soap.
“It seems longer than 10 years with everything you have packed in with all the different stories. Here’s to many more years. Fantastic acting and great chemistry with your co stars. Congrats Danny,” one wrote.
“Best actor in
@emmerdale I also hope your there for another 10 years I’ve watched @emmerdale since I was a kid and 30 years later I’m still loving it. Keep @DannyBMiller as the show wouldn’t be the same without this beaut,” another said.
“Congrats on 10 years of being on emmerdale you legend!!
@DannyBMiller ,” a third wrote.
Clearly seeing the opportunity to charm his bosses, Danny himself took to Twitter to ask his bosses for a cheeky ‘pay rise’ as he thanked fans for their well-wishes.
‘And maybe a cheeky pay rise? What? No? Ok. Guys?
@emmerdale You there? What? Oh FFS..’ he captioned a clip from a fan page.
Other fans called for the show’s writer’s to give Danny a ‘happy storyline’, following his most recent scenes, which have seen him having to get over the heartbreak of Robert’s baby son Seb moving away to Liverpool with his birth mum Rebecca.
This week, Robert was left feeling uncomfortable as an emotional Aaron suggested they start looking into the idea of expanding their family with surrogacy just days after their son’s departure.
So will the the couple be able to get on the same page, or will Aaron’s spontaneous plans throw another spanner in the works for their relationship?
Emmerdale continues on ITV, Monday, 7pm
