Will Graham and Cain have a showdown over Joe Tate's death?
Emmerdale star Andrew Scarborough has revealed that Graham Foster will “tear himself apart” in the coming weeks over murdering Joe Tate.
Cool, calm and collected are words often used to describe Graham. But you won’t see much of those qualities now as the man in black battles with his conscience over Joe.
As fans know, Graham recently followed Kim Tate’s orders to “get rid” of the businessman. After Cain Dingle punched Joe for jilting Debbie – causing Joe to fall unconscious after hitting his head – Graham appeared to finish the job.
Cain has no idea Joe was alive after he struck him and believes he murdered his daughter’s fiancé. And Graham has so far failed to put him straight.
“Graham is distraught – however dysfunctional their relationship was, he viewed Joe as a son,” says Andrew Scarborough, who plays him.
“In the next few weeks, you’ll see a more vulnerable side to him but you’ll also see the beast that came out when he ‘saw’ his dead wife, because he’s tearing himself apart and lashing out.”
It can only be a matter of time before Cain discovers Graham has manipulated him.
So, is a showdown on the cards?
“Graham would find it extremely difficult to get one over, physically, on Cain,” teases Andrew. “Yes, he’s a trained military guy, but Cain is cunning. They’re evenly matched – it’s a bit like a Western!”
Mind you some fans reckon that Joe might still be alive!
Emmerdale continues on ITV.
