Fi was 'such a great character,' says Lisa
Former EastEnders star Lisa Faulkner has revealed she’d happily return to Walford if the soap asked her back as Fi Browning.
The former Spooks actress said that she didn’t actually expect to enjoy her stay in Albert Square, but ended up having a great time as the daughter of legendary villain, James Willmott-Brown.
“I have to say I loved it,” she told Express.co.uk. “I didn’t expect to like it. I don’t know why. I was scared about doing it but they’d asked me to come and play this character and it was such a great character that I couldn’t refuse. But I went in and I loved it.”
Talking about whether she might one day return as Fi, she added: “I had such a lovely time doing it. If they did ever say, ‘Would you like to come back and do a bit more Fi?’ then I definitely wouldn’t say no.
“It’s such a lovely place to work and everyone was so nice.”
Celebrity MasterChef winner Lisa entered EastEnders as Fi back in April 2017, before leaving at the end of the year.
For much of the time she appeared to be a villain herself, but eventually she turned her back on her father and believed Kathy when she told her that he had raped her.
Fi has already made a return of sorts as last May she made an email intervention in the feud between Phil Mitchell and her former partner Max Branning.
So, it certainly looks possible that Lisa could one day be back in Walford as Fi…
