X Factor fans are being given the chance to compare their music tastes to those of their favourite contestants with the new X Factor Music Matcher.

Viewers can download the Matcher to their computer and see which of the final hopefuls they are most like as well as finding out about the contestants’ favourite songs for different occasions.

This week the final six acts were asked to reveal their top romantic tunes.

Danyl went for Maxwell’s Somethin Somethin while Joe favours Kylie and Jason’s Especially For You and Lloyd names Joe Cocker’s You Are So Beautiful.

Controversial twins Jedward say This I Promise You by N’sync is their top love song while Olly and Stacey both went for Take That songs.

Dagenham mum Stacey chose Back For Good and Essex boy Olly prefers Million Love Songs.

The hopefuls were asked about everything from tunes they sing in the shower to what is on their iPod.

The Music Matcher will also recommend tracks to X Factor fans by looking at their favourite songs and comparing them to the likes of Stacey, Olly and Lloyd’s collections.

Andy Dean designed The Music Matcher and said: “The X Factor Music Matcher is just like a finalist popping over to your house and looking through your music collection.

“The technology finds songs in your collection that the finalists like and even those great tunes that you’ve forgotten. If you are a diehard fan, this is the technology for you”.
