And could Gemma flog the family’s story to the papers?
Coronation Street mum-to-be Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) could sell her dramatic story to the newspapers, it’s been revealed.
Gemma, who’s been rocked by the massive bombshell that she’s expecting quads, will head off next week with Chesney Brown – who fainted when he heard he was going to be a father of four! – to have her 12 week scan.
The pair, not surprisingly, are filled with nerves as they go for the vital check-up.
Both of them are desperate to know whether the babies are fit and healthy.
Meanwhile, the official Coronation Street website has revealed that Gemma has a very interesting conversation while she’s there.
The website teases: “When a lady in the waiting room suggests they could sell their story to the press, will it get Gemma thinking?”
We’re pretty certain it will get Gemma thinking! Gemma and Chesney are obviously going to need to a lot of dosh to feed four little ones.
Gemma will no doubt be thinking that thousands of pounds from a newspaper for the family’s story would pay for a lot of nappies.
Meanwhile, The Sun has claimed that Gemma will end up going into labour high up in a cable car!
Apparently, Gemma is on the cable car in Wales and has to be rescued. The paper quotes a source as saying: “It’s been a story of ups and downs. For Gemma to go into labour while riding a cable car sums up that they haven’t had things easy.”
So it sounds like there’s a lot of drama ahead for the new family…
Find out what happens at Gemma’s scan in Coronation Street next week on ITV.
