The reformed Girls Aloud will join Kylie Minogue as special guests on next month’s Strictly Come Dancing Wembley show, according to the papers.

The Mail On Sunday reports that Kylie will perform her new single in front of an audience of over 6,000 at the London show, while current contestant Kimberley Walsh will also join her Girls Aloud bandmates on stage.

They will be part of the annual spectacular, which will coincide with this year’s Children In Need telethon – and will mark the second year the show has been broadcast from Wembley after previously being staged in the Blackpool ballroom.

And the move is being regarded as a coup for the BBC One show over its ITV rival The X Factor, just a week after it beat the show in the ratings with 9.9m compared to The X Factor’s 8.8m.

Previous reports had suggested Cheryl Cole would perform on the show, but this later extended to rumours that she would be bringing the rest of Girls Aloud along.

Kimberley is currently partnering Pasha Kovalev on the show, scoring 29 points on Saturday’s Hollywood special for her quickstep.

“You’re always such a pleasure to watch,” Darcey Bussell told her, while Bruno told her she was “back in business” following her disappointing marks for last weekend’s foxtrot.
