Gogglebox took to the road to promote its new series, which started on Channel 4 on Friday March 7, with an eye-catching campaign that featured its biggest stars in big locations…

Right on the crossing of London’s Abbey Road (made famous by the Beatles) were life-size cut-outs of Kent’s posh couple Steph and Dom Parker, sitting on their sofa with their usual drinks in hand… And next to them, in their comfy armchairs, was the rascally Leon Bernicoff, from Liverpool, with his long-suffering wife, June.

The Steph and Dom cut-outs also popped up in London’s National Portrait Gallery – a picture visitors didn’t expect to see – and Trafalgar Square, looking just like they were waiting for a TV to come on.

Meanwhile, the Leon cut-out sat himself on a London bus while cut-out June took in the first buds of spring at Regents Park.

How the crew got those massive cut-outs on a bus or into the Gallery is a mystery – but seeing them in place is almost as much fun as watching them watching TV.
