It’s Halloween at Holby City and formidable surgeon Jac Naylor is as fearsome as ever. But the shock’s on her when Jonny’s new wife Stacey reveals he’s been offered a new job – in Edinburgh!

Convinced Jonny will try and talk their young daughter Emma (Darcey Burke) into going with them, the usually no-nonsense Jac (Rosie Marcel) fears she’s losing control and suffers a massive panic attack!

Jac knows she needs to pull herself together, so when fellow medic Kian Madani’s (Ramin Karimloo) old flame Bea returns to Holby with heart complications and he ignores Jac’s advice regarding her treatment, Jac tries to reclaim her position as Darwin’s top dog by demanding he resign as clinical lead!

Later, however, Stacey drops another bombshell on Jac when she reveals that Jonny wants custody of Emma! Is fragile Jac ready to fight?

“Jac’s life is in chaos at the moment,” says Rosie Marcel, who plays her. “I don’t think she’s dealt very well with everything that’s happened in the last few years, from the death of her sister to all her surgeries. I feel something dramatic is coming up for her.”
