The X Factor is set to lose not one but two more contestants in a double elimination this weekend – and Stevi Ritchie says he’ll be one of them.
Stevi, who survived the sing-off opposite Jay James last weekend, reckons his time is up on the ITV talent competition.
“Whether it’s Saturday or Sunday, I’ll be one of the ones that goes this weekend,” Stevi says.
Seven acts will become five, with the one with the least viewers’ votes leaving on the Saturday show, followed by another after a sing-off on Sunday.
Judges Mel B and Cheryl could find themselves without a contestant if their acts, Andrea Faustini and Lauren Platt, leave, while Louis Walsh could lose one – or both – of his groups, Only The Young and Stereo Kicks.
Simon Cowell will surely try to ensure all three of his remaining acts – Ben Haenow, Fleur East and Stevi Ritchie – remain safe.
The second double elimination comes after the Halloween-themed weekend, when Jack Walton and Lola Saunders exited the contest.
The X Factor, ITV, Saturday, November 21, 8.00pm.
