Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring has revealed that her new baby daughter has been joining her on the set of the soap.

The 32-year-old, who plays Cindy Longford, has just returned from maternity leave, and told Inside Soap that she is coping well with juggling work and motherhood.

“I’m finding it easier than I thought it would be,” she said.

“My other half, Dan, has been looking after Lexi when I’m at work and he brings her in when I have long days.”

“We’ve got a creche at Hollyoaks and Lexi will be joining when she’s six months old,” Stephanie added.

“She’s a great baby – if she cried all the time, I think I’d be pulling my hair out.

“It’s been a good adjustment so far and I’m hoping it will continue.”

Stephanie also revealed that her older daughter Mia was “brilliant” with her baby sister. “Lexi’s eyes widen and she gives a big smile as soon she sees her,” she said. “It’s lovely that they’ve bonded.”

And she added that co-star Gemma Merna, who is getting married this summer, could well be getting broody as she has also taken a shine to her daughter.

“Gemma Merna loves her,” Stephanie said. “She snatches Lexi off me!”
