With ITV having had an incredibly successful summer with their hit show Love Island, bosses are believed to be looking to emulate the shows format in order to encourage some jungle romance.

According to a report published by The Daily Star, show makers are hoping that a romance will develop that could rival the love story of Katie Price and Peter Andre- and the line up will hopefully bring that.

A TV insider shares with the publication, ‘Love Island showed how much viewers love that and bosses want a slice of the action’.

The source continues, ‘There’s real excitement about the line-up. For once, a lot of the names haven’t been leaked and there are some surprises’, before adding ‘everyone behind the scenes is buzzing’.

Currently, confirmed camp mates includes Vanessa White of girl band The Saturdays, Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, Made in Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo and YouTube star Jack Maynard.

Rumoured famous faces for the line up includes Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, boxer Amir Khan, TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger and Gemma Collins.

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any updates ahead of the launch of the new series. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the new format of the show!
