He’s been on our screen for 15 years, but Martin Clunes has confessed that he worries TV audiences might get fed up with him.
Martin, who came to fame on the BBC sitcom Men Behaving Badly, is constantly in demand as an actor.
But he told The Independent: “I’d like to take a break for a year, and grow my hair.
“I am always worrying that people will get sick of me.
“I’m not sick of myself but I would hate to be in that position, because I love what I do.”
The 45-year-old, who currently appears in ITV1 show Doc Martin, added: “The trouble with being successful is that you get to do too much. You need a bit of hunger in there.”
Martin has starred in hits such as an adaptation of Goodbye, Mr Chips, and ITV1’s William And Mary.
