Jade Goody is determined to carry on with her TV show, despite bosses’ fears for her health.
The 27-year-old reality TV star, who is suffering from cervical cancer, has tried to reassure Living TV executives that filming will not be too much for her, according to reports.
The mum-of-two’s reality show Jade: The Next Chapter, has chronicled her battle with cancer and viewers have seen her lose her hair due to the effects of chemotherapy.
She says she wants to continue with the show despite concerns over whether it would be correct to continue.
An insider told The Sun: “There has been talk about whether it would be right to carry on. But Jade is a fighter and it would seem unnecessarily harsh to axe the show.
“Bosses have always asked Jade whether she was happy to carry on and have taken tough decisions about whether the filming should continue. She has said it is fine.”
Jade has two sons with TV presenter Jeff Brazier, from who she is now separated, and has tried to protect her children from the realities of her illness.
A Living spokeswoman said: “Living’s priority is Jade’s health. If at any time she doesn’t want to continue, we will respect and honour that and stop filming.”
