Former Big Brother housemate Jade Goody is facing a third cancer scare, according to The Sun.
The paper reports that Jade – who sprang to fame after appearing in the third series of the reality show – is to undergo tests after collapsing at her Essex home last weekend.
She called for an ambulance after discovering she was bleeding when she regained consciousness.
Since then she has been at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, where doctors have been trying to establish the cause of her collapse.
“We still don’t know what’s wrong but, yes, it is a cancer scare,” Jade’s agent Mark Thomas told the paper.
“Jade has undergone a series of tests but the doctors can’t pinpoint the problem. She’s still in pain and it’s a worry.”
The star has suffered a string of health problems in recent years. She was tested for ovarian cancer in 2004 and bowel cancer in 2006 but was given the all-clear on both occasions.
She also suffered a miscarriage in 2006.
Jade became a small screen regular after Big Brother. However her reputation was damaged after she appeared in 2007’s Celebrity Big Brother and was caught up in the controversy surrounding the alleged racist bullying of housemate Shilpa Shetty.
Recently however she has bounced back with the launch of her new perfume, and has been filming a new reality show for Living TV.
