Jade Goody has been given hope in her battle against cancer, after doctors said they caught her cancer just in time.
Jade has undergone an eight-hour hysterectomy at London’s Royal Marsden hospital and is said to be recovering well, according to reports in The Sun.
The Big Brother star will still have to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment but has vowed to fight disease for the sake of her children.
Earlier Jade – who has sons aged five and four – declared: “There’s no chance of me dying because I won’t let there be. I have to see my kids growing up.
“I am lucky because there are some women that haven’t been able to have children and then have to go through what I’m going through.”
In addition to her health problems, Jade was stunned when her partner, Jack Tweed, was jailed earlier this month for attacking a 16-year-old boy with a golf club.
She went on: “I had high hopes. And so far I’ve been diagnosed with a disease, and somebody quite close to me has been put into prison.”
She added: “I am scared, but I’m 27 and I’ve got two beautiful children, and I’m lucky.”
