Jessie J has admitted she is worried female singers on The Voice do not want to join her team – as they are scared of her.
The Domino singer is said to be frustrated by the amount of girl auditionees who choose to work with her rival coaches will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones.
And she told the Daily Star: “I just want females not to be scared to work with me.”
An insider added: “For whatever reason a lot of girls just don’t pick her.
“She’s getting a bee in her bonnet about it because she’s missing out on all great singers.”
Meanwhile an insider told The Sun that Jessie had become so desperate to recruit girls that she had resorted to desperate measures – using shoes.
“She’s been offering to share her shoe collection to lure them away from the boys,” the source said. “It has been frustrating for her.”
Last Saturday’s show saw one female hopeful, Katie Benbow, join Jessie’s team.
The Voice continues on BBC One on Saturday at 7pm with the second round of blind auditions.
