Joe Tate is alive! Now THIS is what Emmerdale fans think will happen next

Emmerdale fans have revealed what they think will happen next now we know Joe is alive...

Last night’s Emmerdale saw the bombshell revelation that Joe Tate is actually alive and well and living in Monte Carlo – and fans are thrilled!

But while we have finally been given some answers after an agonising five-month wait to see if the fan theories that he wasnt really dead were true, it seems Emmerdale viewers are already guessing what might happen next.

'Fix this!' Emmerdale fans 'gutted' over Joe Tate murder. And think he's ALIVE!

After all that – he’s not really dead!

Once the initial shock that Cain Dingle hadn’t killed Joe back in October last year had died down, fans started calling for Joe to return to Emmerdale and reunite with Debbie.

Lots of fans even want to pair to get married, just like they were supposed to last year…

With actress Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle, expecting her third child later this year, fans also through that Joe’s return could handily tie in with her maternity leave…

Emmerdale had fans on the edge of their seats as Kim Tate worked out that someone had been withdrawing money from an offshore account that she owned.

Knowing that right-hand man Graham was acting shiftily, Kim got a private detective to do some digging.

Not only did he come back with photos of Joe alive and well and living it up in Monte Carlo, but he also told Kim the name of his hotel and even his room number.

But thankfully Graham was one step ahead of Kim and he told her that he’d already moved Joe on and out of her reach.

Graham was one step ahead of Kim last night…

But how long will Joe manage to keep himself off of Kim’s radar?

While Emmerdale has revealed there aren’t any immediate plans to bring Joe back on screen yet… there is at least some hope that he could return one day.

Could fans be right and we’ll see Debbie head off to find her former fiancé as Charley goes on maternity leave? Watch this space!

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
