Kelly Osbourne has branded Dannii Minogue ‘the Devil’ in a Twitter tirade against the X Factor judge.

Kelly was angered after reading the first extract of Dannii’s new book, in which she claims that on her first night on The X Factor Sharon ‘bowled in’ and ‘demanded to know why I hadn’t gone to the press to tell them what a nice person she was’, leaving her in tears.

Kelly ranted: “The best thing to happen to Dannii’s career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concenterate on motherhood!”

She continued to tweet: “Dannii you are so lucky that I respect Simon [Cowell] enough to not tell the truth about what really happened, you poor middle aged victum.

“I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when came to Dannii but trust me when I say Dannii is the devil.

“To the 12 Dannii fans out there I ask you this question what would you do if someone wrote a book of lies about your mother? I think you all forget I was there I saw everything and if my mum was the ‘bully’ why was she the one the left the show?”

In her autobiography, Dannii claims that the feud continued throughout the entire series, and also led to Louis Walsh taking Sharon’s side against her.

Dannii wrote: “The rest of that first series was a rollercoaster of emotions. While I loved being a judge, I started to grow weary of Sharon and Louis’ united front against me.”
