Reality TV star Kerry Katona is considering a reconciliation with her ex-husband Mark Croft, according to the papers.
The Sunday Mirror reports that the star – a former winner of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of here wants to patch things up with Mark for the sake of their children.
And despite being in a new relationship with painter and decorator Adam Waldron Kerry has reportedly told friends she “still has a soft spot for Mark”.
“Kerry’s taken to ringing Mark,” a source close to the star told the paper.
“He is her husband, she was with him for a long time and they have two children together. Kerry says the feelings that come with that don’t just die.
“She never wanted the relationship to end in the first place – she was desperate to keep things together for the sake of the kids. Now she says if they could sort out their differences they might give it another go.”
The couple have two children together, Heidi, three, and two-year-old Max. They came to a long-term custody arrangement recently which will see Mark looking after the children at his home in Warrington on alternate weekends.
“Once they started talking again without the rows, Kerry started thinking about what she’s lost,” the source added. “The fact that Mark was so concerned about the kids seemed to spark something in Kerry and she started ringing him more and more.”
Kerry suffered serious financial problems while she was married to Mark, while it was also revealed she was taking cocaine.
The couple eventually split in February of this year after he falsely accused her of having a fling with fitness instructor Kevin Green.
