Kids’ favourites The Wiggles have been named as Australia’s top earners, beating Kylie Minogue for the fourth year running.
The foursome, who have created their own brand of children’s entertainment and have play centres all over the world, made A$45m (£20.4m) last year compared to Kylie’s A$40m (£18.1m).
In third place was actor Gladiator’s Russell Crowe with A$36m (£16.3m), followed by Hugh Jackman’s A$25m (£11.3m), who played Wolverine in the X-Men films.
At number five was another children’s group, Hi-5, whose A$18m (£8.1m) falls short of their rivals’ astonishing success.
The rich-list was compiled by the business magazine BRW.
Other entertainers to make the list were Cate Blanchett (£6.3m), Nicole Kidman (£11.3m), and her husband Country singer Keith Urban (£5.6m)
