The Aussie pop star has told The Mirror how she is going to be too busy with tour commitments to return to the singing contest next year.
It will come as a massive blow to the BBC, who brought Kylie in this year to help boost viewing figures.
“I’m touring and the timings wouldn’t work,” Kylie confirmed.
“Being on the show is a huge commitment. I have loved it although there have been parts which have been really difficult and emotional.”
Kylie is currently back in the charts with her new single, Into the Blue.
A BBC spokesperson said they had not given up yet on getting Kylie back for the next series, despite her comments.
“Kylie is a fantastic addition to the coaching line-up. We are aware of her other commitments and are looking to accommodate them. Discussions are still on going and it’s too early to speculate as we’ve not finished this series yet.”
Kylie, 45, also said despite the name of the contest, being a pop star is not just about “the voice” – it’s also about sex appeal.
“It can’t just be about The Voice, you can’t just switch off your sense of vision,” she explained.
“I think charisma is important, too, and that is often very close to someone being sexy.”
