BBC One's hit police drama Line Of Duty isn't due back on our screens until next year. But the first image of AC-12's new suspect has been leaked...

Fans of BBC One’s hit police drama, Line Of Duty got a treat last Sunday night, when a teaser trailer for Series 5 aired after the finale of creator/writer Jed Mecurio’s other hit series, Bodyguard.

Although Series 5 won’t begin until next year, the BBC have “leaked” a CCTV image of a suspect that police anti-corruption unit AC-12 want to talk to as part of an ongoing investigation.

The suspect is played by This Is England star Stephen Graham. But since this is Line Of Duty, it cannot be confirmed or denied if he is playing a copper…or a criminal!

So in the meantime, viewers will just have to keep wondering about the clues in that teaser trailer, which features Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), Detective Sergeant Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) discussing AC-12 looking into an institutional cover up.

Around 10 million viewers watched Series 4 of Line Of Duty when it was shown last spring. The central storyline saw the downfall of dodgy Detective Chief Inspector Roz Huntley, played by Thandie Newton.
