Christina Hendricks is said to be in negotiations to sign up for two more seasons of Mad Men – with a pay rise taking her into six figures per episode.
January Jones, who plays high maintenance Betty Draper, Elisabeth Moss, who stars as ambitious working girl Peggy Olson, and Vincent Kartheiser, who plays sleazy Pete Campbell, have all negotiated similarly high pay rises to continue in the hit show for seasons six and seven, reports Deadline.
Christina, who plays sassy secretary Joan Holloway, is reportedly still finalising the terms of her agreement.
Production on the sixth series is due to begin in October.
Jon Hamm, who stars as ad man Don Draper, signed a three-year, eight-figure deal last year, that will keep him in until the seventh and what is expected to be the final season of Matthew Weiner’s Emmy-winning drama.
Last year, Matthew revealed that he has a plan to end the series in the present day.
He explained: “What I’m looking for, and how I hope to end the show, is like… it’s 2011. Don Draper would be 84 right now. I want to leave the show in a place where you have an idea of what it meant and how it’s related to you.”
