Voice favourites Matt Henry and Karl Michael were among those who made it to the show’s live heats as the line-up of finalists was completed on Sunday night.
The pair were among six performers put through to the finals as Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue completed their teams for the next stage.
And for Matt Henry his place in the finals came after he almost crashed out of the contest during the battle rounds.
The singer was eliminated by his coach will.i.am last weekend, but was given a lifeline when Jessie J stole him for her team – and won her over with his emotional rendition of Skinny Love.
Matt won his place in the finals ahead of Letitia Grant Brown and Lovelle Hill, while Sarah Cassidy – who beat fellow hopefuls Trevor Francis and Danny County – also made it to the finals.
Jessie’s line-up was completed by Welshman Ash Morgan – whom she sent straight through to the finals without having to compete.
Meanwhile Danny O’Donoghue sent Karl Michael straight through to the finals ahead of choosing his own remaining team members.
“The person I am sending through has shown me that not only do they sing from emotion, they sing from the heart every single time,” he said of his decision.
Danny’s team was completed by Irish singer Andrea Begley, who beat Alex Buchanan and Abi Sampa in her round, and rocker Mitchell Emms, who fought off competition from Conor Scott and Sean Rumsey.
Sunday’s six finalists join those already chosen by will.i.am and Tom Jones on Saturday night’s show.
They will now compete in The Voice‘s first live final which will be screened on Friday June 7 – moving to a Friday night to avoid competition from the Britain’s Got Talent final.
