The X Factor reject Misha Bryan has revealed she’s forgiven Tulisa Contostavlos for accusing her of picking on other contestants.
The 19-year-old, who was voted off The X Factor’s semi-final, insisted she harbours no bad feelings towards the N-Dubz singer for suggesting she was ‘mean’ to hopefuls backstage.
“Forgiving is the thing that I have done. I believe that in situations that occur in life, you shouldn’t get bitter, you should just get better,” she told ITV1’s Daybreak.
The Mancunian singer added: “There’s a saying that to forgive is to set a prisoner free, and I realised that prisoner was me, instead of getting bitter about a situation – because it’s only making you not feel good inside.
“I’m so grateful because it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. From the beginning I set myself up to expect the unexpected. And regardless of how far I came, I just think it’s a blessing me even coming fourth – it’s just incredible.”
Misha said she is backing girl group Little Mix for success in the final, which will also feature Amelia Lily and Marcus Collins.
The quartet are now 6-5 favourites to win the ITV1 competition with bookmakers William Hill, with Lily the second favourite at 9-4 and Collins’ odds at 5-2.
“For me, in terms of a girl group, there’s no girl group out there that’s like them, and there’s a gap in the market that they can fill,” she said.
“I think all three of them have a place in the industry, but the ones who stand out for me right now are Little Mix.”
