Girl group Miss Dynamix will be singing for survival in Sunday night’s results edition of The X Factor.

On Saturday night’s The X Factor, the girl group got a mixed reaction from the judges after their performance of the Gabrielle hit, Dreams, and then came last in the viewers’ Flash Vote.

But the group are ready to battle to stay in the ITV singing competition, after judge Louis Walsh told them they weren’t working as a girl group and he expected more. Jeanette Akua told The X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary:

“We’re not going to go to sleep. We’re just going to practice.”

Acts who fared better included boyband Rough Copy, who kicked off the ‘Movie Week’ theme with Bryan Adams’ hit (Everything I Do) I Do It for You. On the judges panel, Louis called the performance “absolutely brilliant” with Gary Barlow saying it was a “beautiful performance”.

All four judges praised teenager Hannah Barrett’s performance of Adele’s Skyfall, with Louis giving Hannah “ten out of ten!”

Sam Bailey, the only Over 25 contestant left in the competition got a huge applause from the audience when she performed her version of Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On from Titantic. Gary said: “You sang that song better than her!”

However, joining Miss Dynamix in the judges’ bad books were acts including teenager Nicholas McDonald (for yet another sad and serious song choice), Abi Alton (who Sharon Osbourne felt lacked “charisma”) and Sam Callahan (who gave “a weak vocal performance” of U2’s All I Want Is You)

One act is due to be eliminated from The X Factor tonight. Who will it be?
