As his N-Dubz bandmate Tulisa judges acts on The X Factor, Dappy has signed a deal to star in his own reality TV show.
The N-Dubz star will appear in The Madness Of King Dappy on ITV2, and told the Daily Mirror it’s “gonna be bigger and badder than The Only Way Is Essex, and much better”.
The 12-part show will follow the No Regrets star’s music career and will also show his home life with girlfriend Kaye Vassell and sons Gino, two, and Milo, 22 months.
He said: “You’re gonna see me with all my friends going crazy and get a look at the mischief I get up to.
“It’s reality TV, with cameras following me around trying to maintain being a superstar. There’ll be stuff on my home life, too. Me with the kids and me getting in trouble.”
Dappy, who’s no stranger to controversy, revealed viewers will be in for a wild ride.
The rapper said: “I have been misbehaving slightly but that’s me being controversial and spontaneous. You can’t be playing that ‘safe artist’ thing or there will be nothing for me to write a book about in 10 years’ time.
“I want to keep it wild and like a rock star. But there’s definitely going to have to be some bleeping and censoring on the show.”
