Rebecca Front is returning for a second series of Sky Arts’ acclaimed comedy Psychobitches.

The actress, best known for The Thick of It and Lewis, will be back as the unnamed therapist trying to get the bottom of the deep-seated issues in the lives of various famous women.

The incredible female cast this time around includes Rebecca’s Grandma’s House co-star Sam Spiro, Pulling’s Sharon Horgan, Benidorm’s Sheila Reid and Selina Griffiths, Silk’s Frances Barber, Katy Brand, Doon Mackichan, Green Wing’s Michelle Gomez, and Fresh Meat’s Zawe Ashton.

New faces in the series, which is co-written by The League of Gentlemen’s Jeremy Dyson, include Meera Syal, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Morgana Robinson and among the boys joining in the fun are Jack Whitehall and Cardinal Burns duo Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns.

“It’s fantastic to bring the team back together for series two of Psychobitches,” says executive producer Ben Cavey. “We have a whole new line up of women from history getting a dose of modern day therapy and the results promise to be just as clever, insightful and downright silly.”

The six-part series will screen in the autumn.
