Soap star says she's had a great time as Raffy
Home and Away star Olivia Deeble has revealed she’s left the soap to play a princess in a new Disney film.
The 16-year-old actress, who plays Summer Bay’s Raffy Morrison, has landed a role as Princess Roxana in a Disney movie called Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
Olivia told her fans on Instagram that she’s thrilled to have landed the role, while adding that she’ll always be grateful to Home and Away, which she joined in 2016.
“Secrets out! I am so excited to announce I am playing Princess Roxana in the new Disney + movie called Secret Society of Second Born Royals. I am thrilled to be filming in Toronto with a bunch of wonderful new people.”
With Home and Away filmed a long way in advance, Olivia added that fans will still see her on screen in the Channel 5 show for a number of weeks.
“I wanna say that I know there have been lots of rumours about me leaving Home and Away and don’t worry you still have a lot more of Raffy to look forward to on screen.
“The opportunity HAA has given me to grow as an actor is incredible, while I’m not currently filming in Summer Bay, I’m forever grateful for what I have learned and the people I have met.”
Olivia has certainly had some hugely dramatic storylines as Raffy. Teenager Raffy has among other things discovered a dead body, engaged in underage drinking, suffered bullying and survived a kidnap attempt!
Olivia has been in over 200 episodes of the soap.
Home and Away continues on Channel 5.
