American Idol judge Paula Abdul has refused to make a second series of her reality show Hey Paula! as she is concerned about how it portrays her.
According to The Mirror, the former chart-topping has claimed the show makes her out to be an insecure diva – which she says couldn’t be further from the truth.
“The whole experience was disturbing,” she said.
“They put a camera on me when I got wind that my dog was in a coma, and made it seem like it was about hair and make-up.”
Abdul said the aim of the show was to allow her fans to see “the other sides” to her personality.
She will return to screens, however, in a new series of American Idol next year, and is set to make a guest appearance in BBC1’s Hotel Babylon.
