Fancy a bit of classic anime this weekend? Then don’t miss the limited cinema release of Mamoru Oshii’s visionary Ghost in the Shell, in which a prototype virtual agent takes the form of a computer virus, causing havoc within a vast cybernetic network.

Ground-breaking in its blending of traditional cel and computer animation, Oshii’s film has never looked or sounded better than in this re-mastered, high definition print which features 90 enhanced scenes, plus a new soundtrack and a re-recorded voice track featuring the film’s original actors.

Showing 2 October – 8 October at London’s ICA
Released on DVD and Blu-Ray, 28 October
