Gordon Ramsay is rumoured to be teaching Bradley Cooper how to cook for his new film, Chef.
The Kitchen Nightmares star has apparently been brought in as a consultant to make sure that the Oscar-nominated actor’s portrayal of a cook is accurate in the upcoming Sony movie.
“Gordon jumped at the chance to be involved in this. Gordon’s going to be giving Bradley a crash course in cookery and teaching some flash tricks like knifework so Bradley looks like an experienced chef,” a source told The Sun.
Bradley – who received an Oscar nod for his performance in David O Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook this year – will star as a bad boy French cook, who tries to get his career back on track by opening a Michelin-starred restaurant after overcoming his drug addiction.
Scottish-born chef Gordon, who is no stranger to being on the small screen with shows such as Hell’s Kitchen and The F Word, is even tipped to make an appearance in the film, according to the insider.
“He’s used to being in front of the camera, so who knows? A cameo in Chef would be the perfect start if he wanted to dip his toe into acting,” the source added.
