Song choices for this week’s Halloween-themed special have been revleaed for X Factor finalists Wagner, Mary, Cher and Katie.

After Simon Cowell’s announcement on last Sunday’s Xtra Factor show that this week’s theme will be Halloween, rumours have been circulating about what the contestants will be singing and now four songs have been confirmed.

Wagner Carillho will sing Meatloaf’s Bat Out Of Hell, Irish warbler Mary Byrne will be looking to impress with her version of Barry Manilow’s Could It Be Magic, while Cher Lloyd will take on Shakespears Sisters’ Stay and Katie Waissel will give Ella Fitzgerald’s Betwitched a try.

Speaking in her X Factor video diary, Cher said: “This week’s going to be a massive shock and I hope everyone is prepared for it because everyone is used to me being a bad girl rapper.

“I’m going to twist it up a bit and prove to the other people that maybe haven’t liked me as much as my supporters have, to think that actually I’m an all right singer.”

Another X Factor finalist Aiden Grimshaw has been taking about Saturday’s performance saying it will be ‘intense’ and a ‘massive’ song.

Speaking in his video diary Aiden said: “Today we are routining songs for this weekend. I’m really excited about week four. I’ve been offered the most massivest (sic) song ever in the world. So I’m really excited. It might be another intense one, so Cheryl might not be happy.”
