Robbie Williams is set to appear at a charity concert organised by Take That’s Gary Barlow – but sources close to the singer said there are no plans for a reunion.

Both Robbie and Take That will perform separate sets at the Royal Albert Hall concert in aid of Children In Need on Thursday evening.

Earlier this month, Gary hinted to whatsontv.co.uk that Robbie could be one of the show’s surprise guests saying: “You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled, that’s all I can say.”

Robbie, whose album Reality Killed The Video Star is on course to become No 1 this weekend, left Take That in 1995 with the group splitting up a year later.

The other four members of the band reunited in 2005 without Robbie and have gone on to enjoy renewed success on the road and in the charts.

Earlier this week, comedian Peter Kay was unveiled as the star of this year’s Children In Need single.

But the song is being kept under wraps until it is broadcast during the 30th edition of the charity appeal on Friday November 20.
