Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes is reportely set to take to the floor for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

According to the Sunday Mirror the 24-year-old – who is married to JLS star Marvin Humes – is tipped to be an early favourite to win the festive glitterball trophy.

And if she wins she could follow in the footsteps of Marvin’s bandmate JB Gill, who won the 2012 Christmas special with Ola Jordan.

Rochelle will  reportedly be joined by the likes of Bros frontman Matt Goss, DJ Sara Cox, stage legend Elaine Paige and comedian Rufus Hound – a previous winner of Let’s Dance For Comic Relief.

The line-up looks set to be completed by EastEnders actor Himesh Patel – who plays Tamwar Masood in the soap.

Rehearsals for the special will begin next week, although the Christmas stars will not have nearly as much time to get to know their pro partners as those on the main show.

“It will be tough for them as they will only get two weeks to rehearse before going on TV,” a source said of the celebrities.

“Many are novices so they’re nervous about dancing for millions of viewers with such little training.”

Flavia Cacace is tipped to return for the Christmas special, although former Strictly favourite Vincent Simone is reported to have turned down the chance to appear in order to join the I’m A Celebrity…jungle.

The line-up will be confirmed on spin-off show It Takes Two on Monday night.
