Russell Brand to go head to head with Nigel Farage on Question Time

Russell Brand will debate politics and social issues with UKIP leader Nigel Farage in an upcoming episode of Question Time.

The outspoken comedian and the equally vocal MEP will go head to head in next week’s episode of the BBC political debate show, according to the broadcaster’s website.

Nigel is a Question Time veteran, while Russell appeared on the show in 2013, when he called for bankers to be punished, rich people to pay more taxes, and drug addicts to be treated with compassion.

Recently, Russell has initiated a campaign to overthrow the political establishment by encouraging people not to vote.

Also appearing on the episode of Question Time, hosted by David Dimbleby, will be Labour’s shadow international development secretary Mary Creagh MP, with more guests yet to be announced.

Next week’s Question Time will take place in Canterbury, Kent.

Meanwhile, Nigel is due to appear in a Channel 4 Gogglebox spin-off, At Home With Steph And Dom, which sees him spend time with two of the show’s stars.
