Sharon Osbourne faces ‘warning’ over X Factor row

Returning X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne could face a ticking off from the authorities after throwing a pen at an X Factor hopeful during recent auditions.

The panellist saw red during a performance at the Manchester auditions by pensioner Jonnie Rocco – who took the opportunity to take a swipe at her husband Ozzy.

But according to The Sun the police are now involved after he lodged a complaint about her behaviour – which culminated in her throwing a pen at the 73-year-old.

Jonnie described Sharon’s behaviour as ‘vile’, adding: “The pen could have knocked my eye out”.

The paper reports that Greater Manchester Police will be contacting show bosses to remind them ‘of the need to act in a professional manner’.

However they are unlikely to take any further action.

The incident occurred after Jonnie – who had previously tried out for The X Factor in 2007 – left all four judges underwhelmed with his rendition of Elvis Presley’s an American Trilogy.

As he was rejected, he asked them: “You think Ozzy can sing?” – leading a furious Sharon to respond: “Don’t you talk about my f***ing husband,” before ordering security to “get him out of my f***ing room”.

She then threw the pen, which hit the would-be singer on the shoulder as he was led off by security.
