There's a potential new romance on the cards in Neighbours next week as Piper Willis and Leo Tanaka share a secret kiss...
There’s shock heading for Neighbours next week when a heartbroken Leo Tanaka tries to kiss an unsuspecting Piper Willis… but will their “moment” blossom into something more?
Ever since his relationship with Terese Willis came to an end, Leo has been struggling with the fact they’re over. A matter that hasn’t been made any easier when Terese decided to rekindle her romance with his dad, Paul Robinson.
Leo hits rock bottom next week as he struggles with the fact his dad and his ex are a couple once again, and he throws himself into the party lifestyle at the backpackers, determined to forget all about his heartache.
But when that doesn’t work, Leo hits the bottle instead, thinking alcohol might be the best way to wipe Terese from his mind.
But unfortunately getting drunk in the middle of the day only makes things worse.
As he stumbles up the driveway to Terese’s house, Leo shouts his heart out, letting the world know just how hurt he is by his dad and former other half, leaving Paul and Terese feeling awful.
Luckily, David witnesses his brother’s meltdown and is on hand to help Leo through his pain – but both Terese and Paul are also left desperate to make amends for the hurt they have caused.
While Paul thinks Terese would be better keeping her distance, he comes up with a plan to help Leo by asking Piper to talk to him instead.
But while it seems like a good idea at first, things soon go horribly wrong.
As Leo and Piper play pool at the backpackers it seems she is getting through to his mum’s devastated ex, and soon Leo’s dark mood is lifting.
But just when it seems their friendly banter has done the trick, Piper is shocked when Leo takes things too far and leans in for a kiss.
The next day a hungover Leo wakes up regretting making a move on his ex’s daughter, and realises he has got some apologising to do.
Despite being unsettled by Leo’s advances, Piper accepts his grovelling and the pair agree to forget the previous night ever happened.
But now that the seed has been planted between them, is this a kiss that the pair will struggle to forget?
