Salma Hayek, Lily Allen and Rita Ora were among the celebs who donned their finest dresses and stepped out in London for the British Fashion Awards.
Hollywood actress Salma wore a black tasselled dress by Stella McCartney, who she presented with the Designer Of The Year award, while Hot Right Now singer Rita sparkled in an aquamarine gown by Vivienne Westwood.
Pregnant Lily covered her baby bump in a long dark blue dress and joked that she was “wearing a tent”. The singer is expecting her second child with her husband Sam Cooper, after welcoming daughter Ethel in November last year.
Several stars opted for black outfits at the bash at London’s Savoy, including actresses Kelly Brook and Gemma Arteron and burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
Other celebs on the guest list included Pixie Geldof, Rachel Stevens, Victoria Pendleton and Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood, who wore a green suit as he arrived with his bride-to-be Sally Humphreys.
Stella also picked up the Designer Brand award on behalf of her label, topping off a busy year which brought her designs to the world stage in the form of Team GB’s London 2012 kit.
Other winners included fashionista Alexa Chung who picked up the award for British Style, marking the third time she has been recognised at the British Fashion Awards for her style credentials.
