Gabby Logan and James Jordan have become the fourth couple to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV presenter found herself in the bottom two along with Penny Lancaster Stewart and her partner Ian Waite.
The result came as something of a surprise to the judges, since Gabby had been tipped to do well in the competition. Her hubby Kenny was voted through by the public once again despite being given a far lower score by the judges on Saturday night’s show.
Gabby received a mixed response for her dance although was praised by Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood. Kenny, however, fared less well, with Bruno Tonioli saying he “had all the grace of a vacuum cleaner”.
Others who received a less than enthusiastic response, including John Barnes and Kate Garraway, made it through to next week’s show despite low scores from the judges.
Gabby and Penny both performed their sambas again in a bid to stay in the competition – with all of the judges except Craig opting to save Penny and Ian.
Afterwards, Gabby described James as a “phenomenal teacher”.
“I don’t want to cry because I’ve had such an amazing time with him,” she told Bruce and Tess.
The remaining ten couples will dance either a paso doble or a foxtrot on next week’s show.
