Chris Hollins has admitted he feels ‘guilty’ about being in the Strictly Come Dancing final instead of Ali Bastian.

The BBC Breakfast presenter and partner Ola Jordan got through to this weekend’s final ahead of The Bill actress and Brian Fortuna, despite scoring 12 points less than her from the judges.

He told The Sun: “I can’t believe it – I must admit I do feel a little bit guilty.”

Chris added Ali’s fans were not too impressed with his success.

“I’ve had loads of emails. Brian and Ali were awesome, and some people say I’ve taken their place. I’ve even been stopped in the street.”

But Chris said he was pleased about fans affectionately calling him and Ola ‘Team Cola’.

He explained: “It really took off – people are always yelling ‘yeah baby’ and ‘go Team Cola’!”

Ola revealed she wasn’t too surprised about getting to the final: “I saw from day one Chris had something. He takes it all in like a good little boy.”
