This year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas line-up has been revealed. The festive Strictly one-off special, to be shown on Christmas Day, will see six new celebs taking to the floor.
The Saturdays Rochelle Humes, west-end singing legend Elaine Paige and her Radio 2 DJ colleague Sara Cox make up the female contestants. Meanwhile, Bros singer Matt Goss, EastEnders Ricky Norwood (Walford’s Fatboy) and comedian Rufus Hound will be donning the sequins for the fellas.
All six will be teamed with professional favourites like Robin Windsor and Flavia Cacace and perform a Christmas-themed routine in a bid to lift the winner’s silver star trophy.
With Bruce, Tess and all four judges on board, and a special opening number filmed at LaplandUK, the contest is set to be packed full of Christmas cheer.
Rufus is already a dancing champion for his role in 2010’s Let’s Dance series, where he impressed with a performance of Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love. He’s going to provide stiff competition for the likes of Strictly superfan Elaine and crooner Matt. Rochelle’s already got Strictly experience as she competed against Harry Judd in a 2010 Children
In Need special before he went on to become 2011’s main show champion. Can Rochelle finally get her mitts on that trophy?
