Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has hit out at Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, complaining they do not let him have his say.

Revel Horwood – known for his acerbic comments and ‘grumpy’ demeanour on the show – told the Mirror that he may be tempted to lash out if the pair continue talking over him when he is trying to give his verdict on the dancers.

“If they start rabbiting on this weekend I am going to put a stop to that,” he said. “They both try and out-talk me despite the fact I am only given 10 seconds to speak.

“I think its rude to talk over other people and I can’t understand why they do. Are their comments better than mine? They are like little children.”

Revel Horwood spoke out amid reports that former series winner Dixon had been constantly talking to Tonioli and her mum in the audience during her debut as a show judge last weekend.

He said that he was also unhappy when he discovered he would be sitting next to head judge Len Goodman on the panel.

“I was quite concerned when the producers said to me that I was going to be sitting next to Len,” he revealed. “I thought ‘Oh no, now he can actually hit me.’ I think it will be OK, I am trying not to argue with him this year.

“I dont think we will ever see eye to eye but he has every right to say what he says. And I have every right too.”
