Susanna Reid has dismissed rumours she is considering moving to ITV following her successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 42-year-old BBC Breakfast host has gone down a storm with viewers and is now in the all-female final of the dance show with Natalie Gumede, Abbey Clancy and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
There have been claims Susanna has been offered £500,000 to front rival ITV morning show Daybreak.
But she told the Mirror: “If you cut me open I would bleed BBC. I said when BBC Breakfast moved to Salford that the BBC runs through me like a stick of rock – and nothing has changed.”
Susanna survived the public vote at the weekend – which saw Casualty star Patrick Robinson leave the show – despite being placed near the bottom of the leader board by the judges.
Her popularity on Strictly could still mean a change of jobs for Susanna.
A BBC source said: “We’ve worked with Susanna for many years and want that to continue. This is an exciting time for her – she didn’t realise before Strictly just how popular she is.”
But the TV presenter said before the semi-finals: “I have no idea what I am going to do after the weekend, let alone next year.”
