Former Apprentice candidate Stuart Baggs has been found dead on the Isle of Man.

A police spokesman said confirmed the cause of death was ‘unknown’ after the 27 year-old’s body was discovered at a property in Douglas this morning.

Baggs was the youngest contestant in the BBC One show’s history when he reached the semi-final of The Apprentice Series 6 in 2010, aged 21.

Famous for his one-liners, such as “Everything I touch turns to sold” and “I’m Stuart Baggs the brand”, he was a hit with Lord Sugar and viewers alike.

A police spokesman said there was “nothing to indicate that his death is criminally suspicious at this time.”

Baggs launched his company Bluewave Communications in 1997 and had held a press conference on Tuesday to launch his latest product on the Isle of Man.

Lord Sugar spoke of his shock at the sad news this afternoon, tweeting: “terrible news Stuart Baggs has died. My sincere condolances to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of the apprentice.”
