Scott Mills said he and his new friend David Hasselhoff are planning to cause some mayhem in the UK.

The BBC Radio One DJ spent time with the Baywatch actor earlier this year as part of a new television programme and said they have forged a tight friendship.

Scott, 34, said: “About two weeks ago I went to go and live in his house in Los Angeles for four days, and it was just the craziest time of my life.

“It’s going to be on TV at the end of March, beginning of April, but it was just as mental as you would expect it to be.”

David, 56, made headlines in 2007 when his daughter posted a video online of him drunkenly eating a burger in a bid to get him to stop drinking.

And it seems he and Scott may be planning some mischief when David makes a trip over the pond this year.

Scott said: “We are quite good mates now, he just left me a voicemail yesterday going ‘Hey it’s Hassel, lots of love from me’. It’s quite bizarre.

“He’s coming over in two weeks, so I think we’re going to go out again and cause some mayhem.”

Scott also said that David, who has a huge fan base in Germany, is still popular in the States. “We went to this German-themed bar in Las Vegas,” said Scott, “and they were all on the tables going ‘Hoff Hoff Hoff!’ with their massive pints of beer. They love him.”
