Long Good Friday_Steelbook_1IT’S MY MANOR!
Harold Shand (Bob Hoskins) is the Cockney kingpin of London crime at the peak of his power and in control of a vast and profitable section of London’s Docklands. But his underworld empire comes crashing around him in over one seemingly never-ending weekend of terror as he tries to broker a important deal with his American counterpart (Eddie Constantine).

THE LOWDOWN
With its sharp script, gritty cinematography and pulsating score, this prescient crime thriller from director John McKenzie is regarded as one of the greatest British gangster films ever made and the one that made an unlikely star out of the late, great Bob Hoskins. It also features a great supporting cast, including Helen Mirren as Hoskins’ ruthless moll, and Pierce Brosnan, who makes his screen debut as an IRA hit man.

THE ARROW RELEASE
Following a brand-new digital restoration, supervised by the film’s cinematographer Phil Méheux, the iconic London crime thriller is heading to Blu-ray from Arrow, in a dual format Steelbook and limited edition 6-disc box-set, that also includes 1986’s Mona Lisa. Both presentations feature a host of extras, combining the previously released John Mackenzie commentary and a making-of documentary with several brand new interviews.

The Long Good Friday goes on a limited UK cinema release, featuring the newly-restored digital print, on 19 June.
