The BBC has commissioned another two series of hit singing show The Voice, but refused to say if the current coaches including Kylie Minogue will come back with it.

Australian singing star Kylie has proved popular with fans but there have been reports she may quit the show to concentrate on her own music career.

BBC1 controller Charlotte Moore said: “It’s been fantastic to see The Voice return in top form. The new line-up has really connected with audiences and I look forward to it returning to the channel next year.”

Kylie and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson joined the panel for this series along with returning stars will.i.am and Tom Jones.

An announcement on the coaches and presenters will be made later.

Mark Linsey, entertainment commissioning controller at the BBC, said : “The Voice has really cemented itself as hugely popular on BBC1 Saturday nights and I am delighted that we will be dusting down the iconic red chairs for another airing next year.”
