It’s Queen night on The X Factor, with the seven remaining acts paying tribute to the classic rock band
Jamie Archer kicked off the show with Radio Ga Ga – but it divided the judges who seemed more interesting in discussing his hair!
Lloyd’s performance of Crazy Little Thing Called Love led Simon to compare him to a “puppy running the Grand National”
Olly overcame a broken hand to perform Don’t Stop Me Now
The judges loved it – and despite his injury, he still managed to squeeze in some of those dance moves
Joe delivered a powerhouse performance of Somebody To Love, backed by a choir
What would John and Edward come up with this week? They did Under Pressure, complete with Vanilla Ice raps
It kept the judges enthralled
Dannii questioned the relevance of the rap, but even Simon had words of praise for them this week
Stacey sang Who Wants To Live Forever – and Simon called it the “performance of the night by a mile”
The other judges loved her powerful version of the song
Finally Danyl took to the stage singing We Are The Champions – but will he be champion of this week’s show?
In the week devoted to Queen hits, the band themselves turned up to accompany the finalists on a group rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody
There was also a special performance from Colombian songtres Shakira
The finalists also debuted their charity single, a cover of Michael Jackson’s You Are Not Alone….
…..which saw all the former finalists, including girl group Kandy Rain, return to the stage
Once again Lloyd was in the bottom two, this time with Jamie Archer
Dannii had the casting vote – and once again sent the judges’ decision back to deadlock
And this week it was Jamie’s turn to leave, after receiving the fewest number of public votes. Only six to go….
